A Paw-some Photo-shoot and a Spectacular Holiday

The Arran Dog Bakery Team recently travelled down south to the gorgeous, sunny county of Shropshire for a photoshoot with the AMAZING Andy Biggar.

This is something we have wanted to do for a LONG time. His photos are stunning, and having followed his work since we saw the calendar he put together for the charity Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland we had dreamed one day we could commission him to do our very own Arran Dog Bakery Photo-shoot!

As you can see, Wells & Freya were natural posers, but us humans were a different story! Andy put us all at ease from the moment we met him, and it was a true privilege to be able to spend the day with him.

Please go and give him a follow on Facebook and enjoy his wonderful photos for yourself!

Here are a few sneak peaks of our photo shoot

If you are looking for a real dog friendly place (other than Arran) Wellesley and Freya can highly recommend Whitchurch and the surrounding areas of Shropshire.

We stayed at the wonderful 2 Barn Cottage, hosted by AnneMarie. The cottage was truly dog friendly and had clearly been designed with dogs and dog owners at heart! The large enclosed paddock adjoining the cottage garden was perfect!

AnneMarie was incredibly helpful and recommended many dog friendly pubs and restaurants in the local area, which we were more than happy to try out, being the kind of family that enjoys their grub!!

By Andy's recommendation, we visited an amazing community run village pub The White Lion . Incredibly dog friendly, delicious food and super friendly service (not to mention the build your own brownies..!)

In summary, if you are wanting to capture that special forever moment with your best friend along with the perfect getaway in a beautiful setting, head on down to Shropshire!
